Who Will Visit?
Skills London 2012 will be free to all visitors and will attract around 30,000 individuals to the event.
Focusing on visitors aged 15-24 Skills London 2012 will ensure the audience is ready to make decisions about their future education, training and employment including apprenticeships. By visiting the event visitors will meet a variety of work based learning providers, colleges, universities, employers, government agencies and other organisations. They will gain a better understanding of what opportunities exist for them across the Capital and in the wider community.
Skills London 2012 will inspire individuals for their future.
Visitors on Friday will predominantly attend in organised, pre-booked groups of year 11 students and above from schools, sixth forms and FE colleges. This target age group is older than previous Skills London events and will be an audience ready to make decisions about their future. The Saturday is aimed at the general public including families and young adults looking for their next career move and for additional education and training opportunities.
Every school and college in London and the South East and every community and training organisation in London will be contacted.
