Make the most of Skills London 2012
Coming to an event can seem like a just a day out, but Skills London 2012 is packed full of exciting and interactive stands. Your future matters so find out what your options are, and if you meet a company you like - tell them, and if you’re interested - ask questions.
You don’t know if you don’t ask
Some good questions to ask are:- How can I break into this industry? Are there different routes?
- I am good at these subjects (list them), what job would suit me?
- What skills and qualifications do I need for different jobs?
- I want to do A Levels, then go to university, what course would be best for me?
- I don’t want to go to college but still want to get a qualification, what are my options?
- I want a practical job where do I get training?
- How much would I earn when I’m training?
- Will I get a job at the end of my training?
- How much would I earn when I’m qualified?
- Where could I be in ten years time?
